BRADFORD - South Simcoe police are investigating a serious assault in Bradford which critically injured a 56-year-old man.
Police say a 911 called was received shortly after 2 a.m. Saturday after two people were assaulted outside a Centre Street home.
When officers arrived they discovered two victims, a 23-year-old man and his 56-year-old father, had been assaulted.
The elder man was found unconscious, police say, suffering from a head injury.
He was taken to hospital and is listed in critical condition.
Police say the pair had frequented several downtown Bradford bars and are now looking for three suspects.
The first is described as a black male, about 25 years of age, with a skinny build and wearing a yellow/green basketball style jersey down to his mid-thigh. He has short hair and stands about five-foot-nine.
The second is described as an olive-skinned male, with a thin build, about 24 to 28 years of age, who was also wearing a blue/white jersey.
And finally, police are also looking for a white female, about 20 to 27 years of age with a small build. She stands about five-foot-eight, has light brown shoulder-length hair below the shoulders and was wearing black leggings and a beige/white loose-fitting blouse and flat dark shoes.
Police say the three were reported to be in a 2003 to 2005 dark Honda Civic, which was seen leaving the area east on Centre Street.
