BRADFORD -

The Bradford West Gwillimbury Volunteer Firefighters’ Association held another tremendously successful fundraising car wash earlier in the summer. During this year’s wash, $1,929.05 was raised through donations, including $170 from the Canadian Grill. Bradford Canadian Tire then matched what was raised, for a grand total of $3,858.10. The firefighters gave $800 of that right back to the Canadian Tire Jump Start program. The more than $3,000 remaining - almost $475 more than 2015 - will be donated to various charities in the area.
