Horsey Halloween at Foxwood Farm
There's a special Halloween tradition at Foxwood Farm riding stable, located on the 13th Line of Bradford West Gwillimbury.
After a Halloween Horse Show, which included competition in Hunter and Jumper classes, the riders and their horses dressed up for the Costume Class – coming up with creative, ingenious and hilarious costumes, that challenged the judges.
The prize for Most Creative costume went to “Foxwood Farm” - with riders dressed as a “fox” and “wood,” and pony Feisty decorated with a barn.
Cutest costume – “Sesame Street,” with pony Vienna dressed up as Big Bird.
Funniest costume - “Wet Paint.” The riders were dressed as painters; the horse Daytona (a “paint”, with pinto spotting in white and brown) was the “wet paint.”
In all, 39 riders participated on October 23, as parents and siblings looked on – and took plenty of photos.
