Football festival gets going in Barrie

Korkole ran for a touchdown on the play, as his team defeated CCI, 36-14.

The game was held in support of the Terry Fox Run.

A junior game followed, with the Bradford Buccaneers taking on the Wildcats.

The festival continues Thursday at Innisdale Secondary School with senior and junior games as the Invaders take on the Nantyr Shores Tritons.

The festival will include additional games on Oct. 5 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Secondary School as the Knights host the St. Joseph’s Jaguars, Oct. 12 at Bear Creek Secondary School versus Orillia Secondary School, and Oct. 18 again at J.C. Massie Field as the Barrie North Vikings battle Innisdale.
