TLG's Halloween Costume Fiesta

TLG (The Latin Group) Inc. held its first Halloween costume party at the Portuguese Cultural Centre on October 28, and the event - a Halloween party with a Latin beat –  was a great success,  with great music, food and fun.

Over 300 people came out for the inaugural Costume Fiesta, leaving organizers, TLG president Adriana McNeill Salinas, and members James McNeill, Liliana Hernandez and Gustavo Salinas thrilled with the community response.

McNeill Salinas wanted to thank everyone for coming. “This is what TLG is all about – to unify people, cultures, and enhance multiculturalism.”

Among those who dressed up  and came out were members of BWG Town Council, including Deputy Mayor James Leduc, and Councillors Gary Baynes, Raj Sandhu, Peter Ferragine, who channelled Game of Thrones, and Peter Dykie Jr., just clowning around.

The highlight of the evening was an appearance by Group Magia Candombe, showman Gustavo Salinas' appearance as McNeill Salinas' “sister,” and the presentation of the prizes for Best Costume. The winners? Peter and Amanda Ferragine, in costumes inspired by Game of Thrones.
