Dragon Force Soccer Academy's U16 & U17 Teams Win Hangar League Championships

FC Porto Dragon Force Toronto-Bradford Soccer Academy proudly announces that on Saturday, April 29th, 2017 both its U16 and U17 teams won their respective playoff championships in the indoor Hangar Soccer League at Downsview Park in Toronto.

Both Dragon Force teams won their respective championship games by a score of 1-0 against the York Jets.

James Koutsovitis was the lone goal scorer, and goal keeper Jake Ratcliffe preserved the win for the U16 team.

Leo Roncarolo scored the winning goal, and keeper Alessandro Procaccini shutout the opposition for the U17s.

About FC Porto Dragon Force Toronto-Bradford:

Dragon Force is an innovative project which, under the slogan "You Have the Power of the Dragon", was established in Canada in November of 2015. Its purpose is to identify and develop young soccer talent in the Greater Toronto Region bringing the latest developments in sports training from FC Porto in Portugal to Canada, for boys and girls ages 4 to 18.

With cultural influence and a touch of the blue and white, players will experience FC Porto methodology in a practical and playful way, favouring the sustained growth of young people. The project is manifested in soccer schools and three other modalities; clinics, summer camps and road-shows that take the FC Porto brand, and Dragon Force concept, across North America.
